Many people traditionally associate life in the USSR with repressions and troubled years of World War II. It may come as quite a surprise, but the formation of the Soviet Union was marked with the creation of the largest middle class in the 20th century.
However, in the USSR there was another privileged class. Its representatives moved around the city surrounded by special cars with flashing lights. All drivers had to pull over to the shoulder in order to give way to this organized convoy. We suppose it is high time to name this class. In the Soviet times this favored class comprised… children.
There is a good reason that those who grew up in the USSR are nostalgic about this time of their lives.
