Thanks to warm climate and beautiful nature, Crimea is turning into a popular resort. Besides, Crimea has been known as a winemaking centre since ancient times, its traditions been established by Greeks.
Vineyards
It was Sudak where the Russian winemaking reached its prime. There the lasting efforts of the prince Lev Golitsin resulted in creating the first Russian champagne. Its extremely high quality won the grand prize on the exhibition in Paris.
